"Franklin Castle was built in 1865 by German immigrant Hannes Tiedemann. A few years later, Tiedemann was becoming suspicious as the members of his family all passed away within a short period of time. Rumors that Tiedemann hung his daughter from the rafter and killed a servant girl emerged. Whatever the reason, visitors have reported seeing a little girl on the second floor and hearing footsteps and organ music (even though there was no piano in the house).
