Web 2.0 Awards
I found this on the Digg front page today - SEOmoz’s Web 2.0 Awards. The author took a lot of time going through 300+ new companies, projects, etc. to get a good understanding of their objectives, ease-of-use, functionality, and long-term viability. Luckily for Matt Inman, he had some help from Dan Sullivan of Search Engine Watch, Emily Chang of eHub, and some VCs at Benchmark Capital and Pharos Capital. Still, that’s a tall, tall order. Our hats off to them.
Oh yeah, if you do a little search, you’d find a little Web 2.0 project you’re familiar with. (Hint: look at the social bookmarking section under ‘Honorable Mention.’)
