Rrove 2.0

Check out our new front page! We’ve made some improvements to make it more slick; it definitely has the Web 2.0 feel no? Simple design, mostly white space with big Arial fonts in neon colors, etc.

Truth is - the big change is in the web copy. Figured that Rrove is pretty new, and people might not understand how to use it (and really IS very simple). So we’ve added a step-by-step process to show people how to use Rrove.

Update your Rrove Buttons

We’re doing rapid development at Rrove, so we change things pretty quickly. One of the problems we continuously tackle is with the ‘Rrove This’ button - it might not Save or Return to the original page correctly. This happens when the map services change the way they form their URLs.

If you experience something like this, please update your Rrove buttons. You can easily do that through this page: http://www.rrove.com/tagger. Thanks for being patient with us. We’ll figure out a way to automatically update your buttons in the near future.

Tip of Day: Easy Sharing of Addresses

You can easily share an address to friends by hitting the ‘Send to friends’ link. This will open a message in your default email client. The message will contain a link to the location’s Details Page (here’s an example) so your friends can track back to your special spot. Add a personal note and send it off!

When your friends get the message, they can easily get driving directions by hitting the ‘To here’ link and typing in their home address. Better yet, they can open a Rrove account and automatically add that address for future reference.

Here’s the best: if your friend has a Rrove account, he or she can simply hit the ‘Save’ button and the location will be added to the account. This is very powerful because you probably will meet at a later date. So, you don’t need driving directions (nor a print out) right now, and tracking back to an email with an address later is a hassle.

Think about it.
